Basically, you cannot have a small farm house. If you wish to have a farm house of 3000 to 5000 sq. ft, sorry……
It can be called as a bungalow plot but not a farm home.
Ideally, the farm home must have a home, garden around the home and also, a farm in the backyard or surrounding the garden.
The home might be small cozy of about 400-800 sq. ft, but it will be able to give you the feel of complete relaxation. You should feel calm, happy and satisfied, when you are at your farm home.
Then the garden, where you can grow and enjoy the bushes and creepers of flowers, where you can plant, reap, cook and eat vegetables you like, and where you can sit relaxed.
Then comes the farm, either at backyard or surrounding to garden, which is also the most essential constituent of the farm home.
And the farm should be at least of 100 + horticultural trees like pimple, Mango, Cashew, Drumsticks, Coconut, Areca, Tamarind, Custard Apple, etc.etc. You cannot have everyone, but you should have at least 5-6 types of varieties of horticultural plants.
Basically, if you can talk with trees, you feel the trees, you enjoy being with trees, then only think of having a farm home. And let me tell you that whenever you are surrounded with such a chunk of trees, you always feel relaxed and happy.
And also any establishment with home and garden, without plenty of trees cannot be called as a farm, It is just a plot or open space, no matter how elegant, attractive, scenic, graceful etc., etc., it might be.
One should feel relaxed, and should be able to recreate him or her, at the farm home.
And I swear, the farm with plenty of trees, have this power.
The farm always, just takes away all your worries and in return provides you the calmness, just with their presence.
You have to feel it, and if you can feel it then only go for a farm or farm home.
